A member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, Chris Tschirhart is a Senior Engineer with Anderson Perry & Associates of La Grande, Oregon, where he performs quality control reviews, manages and designs projects, and performs business development work. In his current position, he has also mentored junior engineers and project managers. Chris Tschirhart maintains licensure to work as a civil engineer in Texas, Nevada, California, Oregon, and Washington. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Union County Economic Development Corporation.
Mr. Tschirhart began preparing for his career by attending the University of Texas at Austin. As a student, he served as President of the student chapters of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Texas Society of Professional Engineers. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Later, he gained acceptance to Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas, where he earned a Master of Business Administration with academic distinction. After completing his education, Chris Tschirhart was a project engineer for JWA Consulting Engineers of Zephyr Cove, Nevada, and Engineering Manager/County Engineer for Douglas County, Nevada.
